Fellowship

POPCSupport is a ministry through United Methodist Temple (see the map on the home page).  We believe that all people are made in "the image and likeness" of God. We believe that, even though our journeys may be full of danger and disappointment, God has a plan for each one of us. We believe that this plan involves salvation and redemption for all who seek and follow Jesus. We know that we are guided and comforted by the Holy Spirit, who never leaves us.

MOM is working on the process of becoming an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and will be finishing her Master's Degree in Biblical Studies. She was an educator for 38 years. Fifteen of those years were spent as Teacher of Gifted, where she had students who were in jails, juvenile prison, expulsion programs, and teen pregnancy schools. She was dismayed to realize that there were no support groups for the parents of these children, but was not allowed to start one while employed by the school board. Now, with the help of Pastor Pam and the other wonderful people at UMT, she is able to.  If you have any questions of a spiritual nature about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, or why "this" happened to you, please use the contact form and she will email you privately.

The Wesley Covenant Prayer

“I am no longer my own, but thine.
Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee,
exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things
to thy pleasure and disposal.
And now, O glorious and blessed God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.”
